The Board of Directors will meet quarterly to approve funding of production grants/loans. Applicants may be organizations or individuals.
Grant recipients will be required to participate in the foundation's internship program and to provide educational and mentoring opportunities to at least one individual chosen by the foundation. Example: The foundation may place one or more interns with a grant recipient for hands-on training in one or more aspects of filmmaking, including, but not limited to, screenwriting, directing, producing, principal photography, and post production. The number of interns placed with any given grant recipient will depend upon the nature and scope of the project. Internships will be non-paid positions.
1. Applicants must provide a full script.
2. Applicants must provide a proposed budget.
3. Applicants may only submit one project application annually.
Genres accepted: documentary, educational, feature, animation (both features and shorts will be considered). Films must be shot and completed in the Delaware Valley which encompasses the state of Delaware and certain counties in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.
Recipients must provide periodic reports detailing uses of funds. Grant/loan funds may be distributed at different intervals of production. A contract containing the conditions of the grant must be signed and accepted by the foundation before funds will be released.
